The fight between Popó and Kleber Bambam, which took place last Saturday (24) in São Paulo, on “Fight Music Show 4”, lasted just 36 seconds, but earned them both a fortune. Popó knocked out his opponent without difficulty and won around R$5 million. Bambam, on the other hand, pocketed around R$6 million.

With the money received in the fight against the ex-BBB, Popó has considerably increased his assets. In addition to the amount earned in the last fight, the four-time world boxing champion had also earned R$12 million for his bout against Whindersson Nunes, which took place in 2022.

Adding the amounts Popó received from his fights against Bambam and Whindersson to the R$6 million he declared in 2020 (when he ran for city council in Bahia), it can be said that the boxer’s fortune is currently around R$20 million to R$30 million.

Fight against Jake Paul? If it’s up to Popó, his fortune will continue to grow. The fighter is already targeting new fights, which would allow him to fatten his bank account even more. After beating Bambam, he posted a message on social media challenging American actor and YouTuber Jake Paul to a duel.

“Hey, Jake Paul. You could be next. Can you imagine how cool it would be to have a world title fight between the two of us? Ah, but… I forgot you don’t fight by knockout,” said the Brazilian boxer (see below).

Hey @jakepaul , you can be next. Can you imagine how cool a fight worth a world title between the two of us would be? A, but… I forgot you don’t fight a knockout.
