“Actually, I offered myself. A mutual friend of ours, André Vitor, introduced me to Dani [Beyruti] and her family. Talking to Dani, I told her about my dream and that I was debuting my circus in São Paulo. Until then, I had no idea about a TV show. I just told her I was launching the circus and invited her to watch. A childhood dream. I told her my childhood story and it touched her. She said: ‘Before watching your circus, wouldn’t you be interested in recording a pilot for TV?

The vice-president of Silvio Santos’ broadcaster said that she wanted to make some changes to the programming and was carrying out tests with various people. “She said: ‘Since you spoke so beautifully about your dream. Have you ever thought about your dream on TV? I think it’s cool and interesting. It would be a great fit if you were approved,'” she added.

“I said to her: ‘Man, it’s a dream for me. What do I have to do? She said: ‘Show me and prove it. Show me that this dream can come true and I’ll help you’. That’s when I went for it (…) I thank her for trusting me, for giving me that vote of confidence,” he concluded.

About the show, Tirullipa explained that it aims to bring spontaneity and innocence to humor: “Circus humor brings a lot of innocence. And I wanted to go back to my origins, which come from the circus since my father is a circus clown, and rescue innocent humor. That way you can entertain everyone. We tried, we risked, we succeeded and now it’s coming out!”.

“It’s such a fun show to do and watch. It’s something totally different from what you’ve seen before: grandchildren will enjoy watching it and grandparents will remember it. Family is our focus,” said Marcelo Kestenbaum, the show’s director.
