As usual, another month has come to an end and the most sold pickup trucks have been updated by Fenabrave (National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution). Within the medium/large pickup truck segment, there was a decrease in sales compared to January, from 52.51% to 52.01%, while the compact pickups increased considerably, from 34.73% to 36.32%. The Stellantis pick-up remains unthreatened, but there have been changes in the table.
The Fiat Strada remains at the top with 8,568 copies sold in February, 549 units more than in January. The Volkswagen Saveiro, Strada’s direct competitor, also saw an increase, but nowhere near the Fiat pick-up. There were 4,127 copies sold, less than double that of the Strada. The Toyota Hilux comes in third place and leads the way among medium-sized pickups, with 3,436 units sold.
Fourth position remains with the Fiat Toro, which fell from 3,219 in January to 3,044. The Ram Rampage rose from seventh to fifth place, thus closing the TOP 5 with 1,774 units. The Chevrolet S10 jumped two places, from eighth to sixth with 2.020 models sold, thus overtaking its sister the Montana.
The Ford Ranger fell to seventh position, now with 1,885 units sold. The Chevrolet Montana, which was in fifth place, ended up in eighth position with 1,858 units.
Finally, the Renault Oroch did not exceed 1,000 units like the previous month. There were only 977 units, while the Mitsubishi L200, a medium pick-up truck, completes the top 10 with 889 units sold. The VW Amarok was in the penultimate position on the list, selling just 359 units.
