Corinthians has established a partnership with the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for the São Paulo E-Prix, which will take place at the Anhembi Sambadrome on March 16.

In addition to offering discounts for the Fiel Torcida to watch the race, the club and the category will carry out joint activities.

All Timão fans via the official program called Fiel Torcedor will get a discount on tickets, in all sectors available for sales.

In addition to the lower prices, Corinthians and FIA Formula E will produce collaborative content, such as a warm-up for the race on March 16, and will promote special actions by redeeming points, among other activities that will be announced at a later date.

“It’s fantastic to have this synergy with a soccer team like Corinthians. This crossover is significant for Formula E because it involves a mass sport like soccer.”

“Our goal is to have more fans following our sport in São Paulo and around the world and this activation allows us to be in front of a new audience and new fans,” said Alberto Longo, co-founder and director of the FIA Formula E championship.

At the Sambódromo do Anhembi, the audience recorded in 2023 was 23,000 people. The event is held in one day, from practice, qualifying and the race, which is scheduled for 2:03 p.m.

The São Paulo street circuit has only 11 corners and three straights, one of which is the longest of the season at 750 meters, precisely the one at the Sambódromo, and with that, the fans in the stands will probably see a show of overtaking.

Marcelo Mandel, Corinthians’ Director of International Relations, highlighted the importance of this partnership: “This partnership with FIA Formula E, a category that is growing more and more around the world, is extremely important for the greatness of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista”.

“Corinthians is a powerhouse and our mission is to make our brand more and more international alongside major events like the São Paulo E-Prix.”

The electric car category has 22 drivers and 11 teams and is in its tenth season. Formula E’s strategic partner for the Brazilian Eprix is São Paulo City Hall and São Paulo Turismo – SPTuris.

Tickets for the 2024 São Paulo E-Prix can be purchased via the Eleven Tickets website.
