After weeks of negotiations, Breno Bidon, voted the best player in the 2024 São Paulo Junior Football Cup, won by Corinthians at the end of January, has signed a new contract with club paulista.

According to journalist Luis Fabiani, from Rádio Itatiaia, the 19-year-old midfielder’s new deal is valid until the end of 2028, and has a termination fine of R$80 million for Brazilian teams, and R$267 million abroad.

Breno made his debut with the Corinthians professional team last Sunday (10), when he came on at the start of the second half in place of Pedro Henrique, in the 0-0 draw with Água Santa, in the last round of Paulistão.

The promising youngster has been pleasing coach António Oliveira in training, and should be given his first team debut after Timão’s almost month-long absence from official matches.
