City in shock
The municipality of Caconde, located 287 km from the capital of São Paulo and with about 20,000 inhabitants, is in panic. That’s because, just over a year ago, another brutal case shocked the city.
In February 2023, a man stabbed his wife and 1-year-old daughter to death. In addition, the perpetrator murdered his mother-in-law with a hammer. As in this year’s case, the person responsible for the barbarity turned himself in to the police.
