Artificial intelligence gains ground in dating appsFelipe Junqueira

In the increasingly connected and technological world we live in, artificial intelligence (AI)-based dating apps are becoming a growing trend, predicting a billion-dollar market. Among the stories that emerge from this new digital field, the account of a Miami man who invests about $10,000 a month in interactions with AI girlfriends stands out.

The CEO of the company Late Checkout, responsible for one of these apps, shared experiences about the preference of this man from Miami, who chooses to interact with AI girlfriends instead of playing video games or pursuing conventional relationships. It highlights the preference for sites like Candy.ai and Kupid.ai, which offer highly personalized and captivating interactions.

These apps offer a variety of virtual dating experiences, such as Romance.AI, Forever Companion, Nomi.ai, and Soulmate, all of which utilize AI algorithms to generate virtual characters and simulate human interactions.

From personality traits to sexual preferences, personalization is one of the most attractive features of these platforms.

This trend is gaining ground, especially among Gen Z, with reports of positive experiences from users, including attraction to specific avatars and engaging interactions.

A survey conducted by Infobip revealed that nearly 20% of Americans have flirted with chat bots, motivated by curiosity, loneliness, and the search for interactions in an increasingly digitized world.
