Former Republican congressman George Santos announced on Monday (29) that he will take his drag queen character out of the closet. “Weren’t you ready for this? I decided to take Kitara out of the closet after 18 years!” wrote the former congressman, son of Brazilians.

George Santos, who was impeached from the Chamber of Deputies of the United Statesfor allegations of financial fraud, will use his character on the social network Cameo, a platform in which, in general, moderately famous people sell videos by order.

The Republican stated that the motivation for reviving drag is “money, of course.” George Santos Santos also stated that 20% of the amount raised from subscribing to content involving the character will be donated to charity.

In Brazil, George Santos became known for parading as a drag queen in LGBTQIA+ parades. The first openly gay Republican to win an election in the United States, he omitted the persona from the electorate.

Recently, the Republican stated that will run again for a seat in Congress in the 2024 elections.
