On Saturday (4), a man sexually abused a homeless woman on the sidewalk of downtown Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. In the images recorded by a security camera, released by g1, the victim tries to push the aggressor away with her legs while he touches her inappropriately.
The incident took place on Braz Cubas Street. According to the São Paulo Department of Public Security (SSP-SP), the 1st Police District of Santos is analyzing the video to identify the suspect.
In the video, shared on social media, the woman is lying on a piece of cardboard, with the man sitting behind her. He is seen touching the private parts of the victim, who tries to repel him with her legs. The attacker then sets up a cardboard “hut” next to a wall and has sex with the woman.
Both the Civil and Military Police stated that the occurrence was not registered, but the PM passed on the information about the case to the vehicles that patrol the region. To date, the suspect has not been located.
The aggressor can face up to five years in prison for the crime of sexual harassment, in addition to possible penalties for the other offenses, if proven.
