Sand, wood and wallpaper were just some of the unusual materials that appeared on the red carpet at the 2024 Met Gala. The charity event, which raises funds for the costume department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, took place on Monday night.
This year, the theme that drove the dress code of the guests was: “The Garden of Time”, inspired by the 1962 short story of the same name by JG Ballard. And the long-awaited red carpet brought together striking looks, like the ones you see in the following gallery:
