The number of people out of their homes due to the rains that have affected Rio Grande do Sul since April 29 reached the rate of 395.6 thousand people. The data are from the latest Civil Defense bulletin, released at 6 pm this Thursday (9). The death toll from the storms is 107 deaths.
In the penultimate bulletin, released at 12 p.m., the number of people out of their homes was 232.6 thousand. At 6 p.m., this index jumped to 395.6 thousand, with 327,105 people displaced and 68,519 in shelters.
