A 60-year-old man and his 25-year-old daughter were shot dead inside their home last Saturday (11) by the young woman’s ex-boyfriend. The suspect fled by car. The crime was witnessed by the wife and mother of the victims. The case took place in Miracatu, in the interior of São Paulo and was registered as femicide, domestic violence and homicide.
The police report said that military police found Francisco Xavier Marques de Queiroz lying in a corridor and the body of his daughter, Yasmin Santos de Queiroz, next to her father’s.
Joaquim Pedroso Street, in the center of the city, was the place where the shooting took place. The ex-boyfriend, a 29-year-old mechanic, is considered a suspect by police. The woman who was the victim had a protective order against him, according to information from g1.
Yasmin’s mother and Francisco’s wife was at home at the time of the crime. She told police they were lying down when her daughter’s ex-boyfriend arrived, broke down the door and entered the family’s home.
According to the woman, her husband was the first to be killed. Upon hearing the door being kicked in, the wife went to the scene to check what had happened, when she met the shooter and saw her husband shot with three shots.
The assailant then took the 25-year-old into the backyard and also shot her three times. After the murder, the man fled by car. The Institute of Criminalistics (IC) was called in and carried out the forensic examination at the crime scene.
