, was solved in less than a second by a robot designed by the Japanese company Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Also, a world record was broken for solving the spinning puzzle.

On social media, netizens commented: “Rubik’s cube solved before I blink.” Another person said it was “genuinely insane how fast this is.”

The robot was developed by Tokui at Mitsubishi Electric’s Component Production Engineering Center. “Trying to save time was hard work, but also fun. I never lost interest in the project,” said the creator.

On the first try, the cube got stuck in the machine and failed the tests. On the second attempt, the robot reached a time that was never reached in training, it was then that the record became his.

“Our products can make the world an even better place.” I hope the registry will let people everywhere know what our products are capable of,” Tokui said.

The previous record was 4.48 seconds, set by Yiheng Wang in China.
