Viih Tube took to social media in the early afternoon of this Friday (24) to report a scare that went through a big scare after contracting a virus during a trip to Porto de Galinhas, in Pernambuco, last week step. In videos shared through her stories, she shared that she had a placental abruption, which started with heavy bleeding during a meeting.
“I started thinking I was scared to go see if it was blood. I went to the bathroom, passed the paper and saw that it was blood. And it was a lot of blood. And then I experienced one of the worst feelings I’ve ever felt in my life. I keep thinking about the mothers who go through this and it must be very difficult. It was very difficult to go through that. I remember my hand shaking and thinking, ‘It’s not possible,'” said the influencer, who is in her second pregnancy.
After seeing the bleeding, Viih Tube says she rushed to the maternity ward where she gave birth to her daughter Lua, and where she is doing all the tests for her current pregnancy. She thanks all the medical staff who promptly mobilized to perform an ultrasound and confirm that the baby was healthy and not at risk.
“The moment I saw my heart beating, I broke down, I cried a lot. And then, it gave relief to me, to Eli, to everyone. The baby is fine, perfect, healthy, and we found out I had a placental abruption.”
She continues: “Placental abruption, depending on the degree, becomes a high-risk pregnancy, but with me, it was a very small abruption. My doctor explained to me that there are mothers who sometimes don’t do anything and detach the entire placenta, half of it, so I’m going to get frustrated trying to figure out what I did. My detachment was only on the edge, but if I stress it out, it can increase the detachment and make it a more difficult pregnancy. So, I’m at rest. I’m on total rest for 15 days and I can’t do some things.”
