German bodybuilding star Kevin Gebhardt was found dead at the age of 31 in the apartment where he lived. Although the cause has not been disclosed, there are indications that the athlete’s death is related to a surgery he underwent due to a serious knee injury. The information is from the “Daily Star” newspaper.
Kevin Gebhardt’s journey into bodybuilding began when he was just 14 years old. After several years of competition, the athlete had recently decided to make the transition to the role of coach.
Throughout his career, the German stood out with expressive results in several championships, including the 2018 “EVLS Prague Qualifiers”, when he finished in first place. The last competition Kevin participated in was the “EVLS Prague Pro” in 2021. On that occasion, he finished the tournament in 10th position.
The German athlete’s last appearance on social media was on April 26. At the time, Kevin Gebhardt posted a photo, in which he appears sitting in a wheelchair, with a brace around his right knee, which had suffered a ruptured tendon. Along with the image, the bodybuilder wrote the following caption: “Time heals all breaks.”
