PageantHowever, with her victory, the model was the victim of criticism with her weight on social networks. Despite the criticism, Sara is confident and is preparing for the final stage, which will take place during the Thanksgiving Day holiday in the United States.

Who is Sara Millike?

Sara Millike is a 23-year-old plus-size model who has been in the Miss Americana pageant since she was 15 years old. This year is the third time she has tried for the crown, after competing twice without winning.

“I worked hard and changed everything about me. I became who I thought they wanted. Days before the contest, a mean kid told me I was ‘too ugly’ to win. I was going to prove him wrong, so I went into the contest weekend with a fire under me. I didn’t even qualify,” he explained.

“I felt overwhelmed and hung my head thinking my placement didn’t mean a thing. He was right. I vowed never to compete again. So I didn’t go for seven years. But this weekend I got back on stage at NAM to prove to myself that I didn’t give up.”

On social media, Sara shared what her goals are after being the first Miss Plus Size Alabama and encourages women to be who they really are.
