Miniatures of Lego are a great gift for automotive enthusiasts. Repeating a movement of reproducing classic cars, the Lego brand today presented its newest creation, the Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quatrovalvole.
With 1,506 pieces, the miniature Italian sports car is part of Lego’s icons line, which reproduces some iconic cars. The legendary Lamborghini joins Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911, Land Rover Defender, Concorde airplane and the Ayrton Senna tribute.
The miniature measures 34 cm in length; 9 cm in height and 16 cm in width. Among the details, it is possible to see the striking spoiler, the scissor-style opening doors, the red interior – including a functional steering wheel -, and even a representation of the legendary 5.2-liter V12 with 455 hp of power and four valves per cylinder, hence the name quattrovalvole.
The model does not yet have a date to arrive in Brazil, but it should not cost little. In the United States, the model sells for US$ 179.99, the equivalent of R$ 965.21 in direct conversion. Around here, there is still no standard for the pricing of Lego miniatures. The Porsche 911, for example, costs US$ 169.99, but is sold for R$ 1.699,99 at the manufacturer’s official store.
Therefore, the expectation is that, if the Lego of the Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole arrives in Brazil, it will cost more than R$ 1,700 at the manufacturer’s official store. So, is it worth the price?
