A model and businesswoman Sasha Meneghel drew attention on social media after set yourself to a ‘napobaby‘. The North American term defines celebrities who have achieved an initial notoriety due to some degree of kinship with a famous person. In Sasha’s case, because she is the daughter of the presenter Xuxa Meneghel.
The term emerged on social media, being a portmanteau of the words ‘nepotism baby’. This does not mean that the celebrity in question does not have talent, but only had a greater initial reach due to the family members who are already inserted in the artistic environment.
Sasha recognizes those who rose to fame for being Xuxa’s daughter: “Yes, I’m a nepobaby, and I want to say that I’m A nepobaby, okay? I recognize the privileges I have. I have an immense privilege to be able to bring together so many amazing people here,” the model told FFW.
