The French team has been facing a problem on the eve of its debut in the Euro 2024. According to information released by “RMC”, several players are being affected by a virus, and it is not yet known in what condition the athletes will be for the first game of the tournament.
France debuts in the Euro Cup on Monday (17), at 4 pm (Brasília), against Austria. Also according to the broadcaster, the virus also attacked members of the coaching staff. All those affected have been experiencing symptoms such as colds, cramps and headaches since last Wednesday (12).
In principle, the symptoms do not appear to be serious, but the French team is monitoring the evolution of the clinical condition of all those affected, to know what measures to take in the coming hours. The names of the players hit by the virus have not been revealed.
Euro 2024 kicks off this Friday (14), in Germany, with the home team facing Scotland in the opening game. The opening match takes place at 4 pm (Brasília time).
