Euro 2024 begins this Friday (14) with host Germany facing Scotland in the opening game. Considered one of the toughest national team competitions in the world, this year’s Euro will be without several star players.
From cuts due to injury, technical choice of coaches or even the non-classification of some teams, the Euro Cup it won’t have the likes of Haaland, Grealish, Hummels, De Jong and more. Here’s a full list of the most important names that will be missing out on the tournament.

It is possible that one more big name will be added to this list. That’s because Robert Lewandowski is confirmed to be absent for Poland’s Euro opener against the Netherlands after suffering a rupture in the biceps femoris muscle. The team’s doctors have not yet confirmed his presence in the aftermath of the tournament.
