More than 150,000 people were circulating, on Saturday night (15), through the Luiz Lua Gonzaga Events Patio. Calango Aceso, Iguinho and Lulinha, Ivete Sangalo and Henry Freitas were responsible for animating the party, which had a record audience, in the main pole of the June festivities, in the Capital of Forró.

Considered one of the most traditional bands of what is now called forró of the old days, Calango Aceso immediately tried to warm the hearts of forrozeiros, with classics from their more than 30 years of career and sister groups on the road. For the band’s vocalist, Adriana Moral, whether in the heat or in the cold, what is certain is that the public remains loyal when it comes to old-fashioned forró. “They are timeless songs that warm the hearts of lovers.”

Without letting the excitement cool down, Iguinho and Lulinha came right after, getting everyone to sing and dance with their hits under the rhythms of piseiro and forró de vaquejada. Despite the strenuous fatigue caused by the busy schedule of shows, according to the forrozeiros brothers, “stepping on the stage of the Biggest and Best São João in the World renews any existing tiredness. Even with the rain, we felt the warmth of the audience, who once again welcomed us with open arms.”

Third attraction of the night, Ivete Sangalo landed on the main stage of São João de Caruaru, with all her energy and animation, scaring away any cold felt by the crowd. In just over an hour of presentation, the most Pernambuco Bahian of all, tried to raise the temperature with her axé and quebradeira hits. This was Veveta’s second consecutive solo show at Pátio de Eventos.

After making an open letter talking about the fulfillment of the dream, which was to sing at São João de Caruaru, closing the night, singer Henry Freitas made the crowd still present sweat, with the hits of the forró moment.

And without losing momentum, the program at Pátio continues, this Sunday (16), with the concerts of Raphaela Santos, Simone Mendes, Sanfona para Elas and Solange Almeida.
