Known for her performances in “Eastenders,” “The Red King” and “Coronation Street,” British actress Jill Halfpenny, 48, surprised viewers by revealing that she became obsessed with sex after her husband, Matt Janes, died in 2017.
The statements were made in an interview with the “Mid Point” podcast. “It was very shocking to me. After Matt died, I had almost this obsession, this voracious appetite to have sex,” she recalled, who was the champion of the American version of the “Dance of the Famous.”
Jill also revealed that she started to feel guilty because of the frequent sexual desires she was having. However, the Briton pointed out that she began to reassure herself when she saw that she was not the only woman to go through this situation.
“I was like, ‘What a terrible person, what a horrible person I am.’ And then when I went online, I saw hundreds of women saying that ‘yes, they absolutely felt the same way.'”
Even with the “voracious appetite for sex”, the actress stressed that she did not live up to the desires. “Luckily for me, I didn’t act accordingly. And then I went to the other side and I was like, not interested, not even a glimpse.”
