The Brazilian team’s 4-1 thrashing of Paraguay did not alleviate criticism of goalkeeper Alisson, a starter in the competition. On social media, commentator Fábio Sormani blasted the goal conceded by the archer.
Early in the second half, defender Omar Alderete, who had missed two Brazilian goals, hit a powerful shot into Alisson’s corner. Despite slipping on the ball, the number 1 could not prevent Paraguay’s goal.

Before the goal conceded, Alisson made other important saves throughout the match. In one of them, after a deflection by Militão, he managed to make a beautiful save. Pedro Moreno, a commentator for TV Globo, valued the important achievement.
