After obtaining a doping injunction to compete in the Brazil Trophy, Thiago Braz did not get the result and was left out of the Paris Olympic Games. The athlete failed in the three attempts he made with the height of 5.82 meters.
Gold medalist in 2016 and Bronze in 2020, Thiago Braz was suspended in the anti-doping test, due to a substance to increase muscle mass. The athlete obtained an injunction to try for an Olympic spot, but was unsuccessful.
After the Brazil Trophy dispute, Thiago Braz regretted the result and highlighted the physical part as one of the obstacles.
“I had just this chance, I went after what was mine. I consider myself a warrior, but unfortunately I lacked a better physical condition, because I was out for a year,” said Thiago Braz.
