Famous pastor on social media arrested for sharing child pornography

Evangelical pastor Agnaldo Betti, famous on social networks, was arrested on Wednesday (3) on suspicion of sharing videos of child pornography. The operation, which included agents from the Federal Police and the Military Police, took place in the city of Valinhos, in the interior of São Paulo. 

Agnaldo Betti, pastor of the Assembly of God Belém Ministry, was surprised by the military police at his home. According to the PM, he tried to delete the videos, but was unable to. The information was obtained by EPTV.

The Federal Police reported that Betti had already been indicted for the same offense this year. Despite this, the pastor “continued to acquire and share several videos and images of content of child and adolescent sexual violence”. 

Now, Betti will be sent to the penitentiary system, where he will await the other procedures of the 9th Federal Court of Campinas. The report by Portal iG seeks to find the defense of the evangelical pastor. 

Almost 450 thousand followers

Agnaldo Betti, 58, is a well-known face on social networks. On his YouTube channel, the evangelical pastor has about 420 thousand subscribers and usually passes on lessons to young people and adults. On Instagram, he has approximately 12 followers and often posts photos of the services.
