The body of Marcos Roberto Machado was found in an advanced state of decomposition on the BR-163 highway, in Diamantino, 299 km from Cuiabá, on Tuesday (9). According to family members, the 52-year-old man had been missing for two months and had lost R$ 200 thousand in the “Tigrinho’s Game”.
Also according to family members, Marcos Roberto had been missing since May 21 and owed a large amount to a loan shark – the money would be used to cover the damage caused by the failure in the “Tigrinho’s Game”.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) reported that they were warned about Marcos’ corpse by a driver who was traveling on the road and noticed the victim’s car overturned. The agents went to the scene and found Marcos’ body inside the vehicle.
The man’s body was sent to the Official Expertise and Technical Identification (Politec). After the report, the Civil Police of Mato Grosso will continue with the investigation.
