An anaconda of almost 6 meters scared bathers at Atalaia beach in Salinópolis, on the northeast coast of Pará. The animal was found in the sand of the Atalaia hill , near the strip of sand frequented by hundreds of people.
The encounter with the anaconda took place on Monday afternoon (14). The images were released this Tuesday (16), the day on which it is considered Snake Day.

In the video, the anaconda is seen sliding across the sand towards the sandbank, apparently frightened, trying to escape from the surrounding humans.
Despite the scare, there were no injuries. In addition, the animal was no longer sighted.
Guidelines
The main guideline when faced with an anaconda or other snakes is not to interact or approach them.
Authorities must be called, which can be the firefighters by 193 or the Environmental Military Police by 190. Killing or mistreating animals is an environmental crime, punishable by a fine and imprisonment.
