A couple was caught having sex next to a child on Gonzaguinha beach, in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo. The scenes generated indignation in the population.
According to witnesses, the pair arrived on a bicycle and, a short time later, started the sexual act. One child was sitting less than six feet away. Then the couple left the place quietly.
Crime
Obscene acts in public places are considered a crime by the Brazilian Penal Code. Detention can range from three months to one year or a fine.
The presence of the child could further aggravate the situation, with possible additional charges of corruption of minors.
City Hall
In a statement, the City of São Vicente informed that, according to the Operational Control Center (CCO), the place where the facts took place is far from the possibility of capturing the security totems. “The Municipal Civil Guard did not register any call to attend to this occurrence.”
According to the municipal administration, if the citizen witnesses any suspicious action, he can call the GCM by calling 153, the Military Police by 190 or activate the panic button of one of the 30 security totems scattered throughout the city.
