It sounds like a lie, but it’s not. A beauty salon in Kannauj, India, was demolished after a video showed the owner using saliva to massage a customer’s face.
At the time, the client, apparently, did not notice the violation committed by the barber, so much so that he himself gave a thumbs up to the camera and with a smile, approved the action on his face. The video went viral:

The barber was identified as Yusuf and the recklessness sparked protests, including from politicians.
As a result, on Thursday (8), employees of the Kannauj City Hall destroyed, with a backhoe, the rudimentary hall built with wood and plastic covering. The allegation of the public agencies was that the hall was built on state land.
If a barber uses saliva to massage a client, this is a highly unhygienic and inappropriate practice. Saliva contains bacteria that can cause infections or other complications, especially when applied directly to the skin.
Such a practice goes against modern hygiene standards, which require the use of sterile products and safe procedures to ensure the health and well-being of customers.
It is worth mentioning that the term “kissing brush spit” refers to an ancient and unhygienic practice in which some barbers wet the shaving brush with saliva before applying the soap to the face of customers.
This expression has come to be used in a pejorative way to describe professionals or people who adopt careless or inadequate working methods, especially in relation to hygiene.
