A flight that would take place on Monday, 12, between Vitória, Espírito Santo and São Paulo, capital, was delayed after two passengers fought and physically assaulted each other while other people watched.
One of the passengers who was in line recorded the fight between the two. The men appear moored on the ground, already in the boarding area. One immobilizes the other.
The Federal Police was called to stop the fight, and agents appear ducking and trying to talk to the pair who fight. Airport officials also tried to appease the conflict.
The images, in addition to the men grabbed, show the line of passengers waiting to board, but being prevented by the fight.
Reason for the fight
Felipe Campello, one of the passengers on the flight, explained to g1 the reasons for the fight: “From what they said, a passenger couldn’t board because of the suitcase and then he was creating a riot saying that if he wasn’t going to board, no one else would. He stood at the boarding door of the plane and no one passed.”
After 30 minutes of the man refusing to budge and preventing others from getting on the plane, another passenger lost his temper and a verbal altercation began that soon escalated into physical assault.
“When we went to see, the two passengers were already on the ground,” said Felipe. “The Federal Police had to separate the two, and then the shipment began.”
The businessman also said that the man who set up the impediment did not board the plane, and the man who started the physical aggression even boarded, but was removed by the PF before takeoff.
