After losing striker Evanilson to Bournemouth, from England, Porto is looking to sign another Brazilian athlete to take over the number 9 shirt of the Blue and White Dragons .

According to the newspaper “MaisFutebol”, from Portugal, the name chosen is Vitor Roque, from Barcelona. The Culé team has already decided that it wants to negotiate the player revealed by Cruzeiro, but is still waiting for the best proposal.

Vitor Roque may leave on loan, but the definitive negotiation is not ruled out. For this, Barcelona asks for 30 million euros (about R$ 180 million at the current exchange rate). Everton, from England, even made proposals, but was unsuccessful.

During the 2023/24 pre-season, Vitor Roque took the field against Manchester City, Real Madrid and Milan, but he has not yet convinced coach Hansi Flick that he can be useful throughout the year.

At Barça since last year, Vitor has not had great performances under Xavi, former coach of the Culé club. In all, there are 14 games and only two goals for the Spanish club. The Brazilian striker was signed from Athletico-PR for 71 million euros (R$ 433 million) with the status of great promise.
