Silvio Santos died at the age of 93Reproduction

The SBT (Brazilian Television System) decided to cancel the exhibition of the Silvio Santos Program with Patrícia Abravanel this Sunday (18), in which a special of 43 years of the network would be shown. The channel will now show an unpublished documentary about the presenter starting at 7:30 pm.

“Silvio Santos Is Worth More Than Money” is the name of the documentary that brings unpublished images and details of Silvio Santos. The production would only be available on streaming +SBT, which would be released this Sunday, but was postponed by the death of the ‘owner of the chest’.

SBT canceled all its normal programming indefinitely. The order is to maintain the tributes to the presenter and the journalistic coverage of Silvio. The “new grid” should last all weekend.

By determination of Silvio Santos, SBT did not have any material prepared about his death. The presenter was superstitious and, according to him, preparing an obituary in advance could attract bad luck and negatively influence his life.

Silvio Santos, passed away on Saturday (17), at the age of 93. He was hospitalized at the Albert Einstein hospital in São Paulo, where he died at 4:50 am.
