A neighbor fight resulted in death in Nova Iguaçu, in Baixada Fluminense (RJ). The case happened on Saturday night (17), around 7 pm. Painter Alzimar da Silva Gomes, 42, was shot dead on Rua da Nascente, in the Santa Rita neighborhood.

The fight started over a soccer game. The painter’s nephew was playing in the street with friends when suddenly the ball hit a man’s car.

According to the child, the man fought and cursed. Then Alzimar’s nephew asked, “Do we have to rent a field?”

The man then replied: “What an abused child. An abused child has to kill.” Afraid, the boy said he was going to tell his father, Alzimar’s brother.

The father and uncle were present when the child arrived home and reported the whole situation. They then decided to go to the suspect’s residence, according to information from g1.

When they got there, the man was already quite upset and, what was supposed to be a conversation, ended up turning into a fight. The man pulled out a gun and started shooting.

According to Alzimar’s sister-in-law, two shots were aimed at her husband (the victim’s brother) and a neighbor, who managed to escape. The third shot hit Alzimar, who immediately fell to the ground.

The case was registered at the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station.
