Security guard José Henrique Ribeiro da Cunha was arrested in Goiânia for being accused of murdering a customer of the nightclub where he worked by hitting him with an iron bar in the head. The suspect is described as an “extremely violent individual” and has a criminal history that includes bodily injury, threats, aggravated damage, injury, assault on family members and violation of protective orders.
The crime happened in May of this year and he was arrested on Thursday (22). According to the Civil Police, the customer was barred by the security guard after trying to enter the nightclub without an identity document, but continued in front of the nightclub, on a public road, even after Cunha “ordered” him to leave the place.
“Enraged by the disobedience to his order, the security guard struck the victim with an iron bar on the head,” police said, according to Extra.
The client was treated and taken to the hospital, where he spent several days in a coma before dying as a result of the assault. After collecting more information, the temporary arrest of the person responsible for the crime was determined. The police continue to investigate the case.
