Fake audio of Daniel Alves is used for a scam on social networksReproduction / Instagram

Serving provisional release in Spain after being convicted of the crime of violence  Daniel Alves was the victim of a scam that has been affecting several celebrities. An ad on social media uses images of the player with an audio manipulated by artificial intelligence in order to deceive viewers.

See below a photo gallery of Daniel Alves:

During the video, which is originally of Daniel Alves celebrating his call-up for the 2022 World Cup, the player’s manipulated audio says that he would be donating BRL 500 million to people who register on a betting app.

In addition to the image of Daniel Alves, the scam also uses a recording of a “CNN” report, in which the presenter Muriel Porfiro, still through an artificially altered audio, says that the player would be distributing this money due to his lawsuit in Spain.

After the appearance of the presenter, Alves returns to the announcement of the coup and again through a fake audio, says that ‘everyone who registers’ can win a part of his R$ 500 million.

Daniel Alves’ Net Worth

One more proof that the video is a scam attempt is that the player does not have a net worth of this caliber. According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca” and the website “Celebrity Net Worth” (specialized in surveying the fortunes of celebrities), Daniel Alves has a fortune of 55 million euros (approximately R$ 295 million).
