With 28 medals, judo is the sport that has taken Brazil to the podium in the Olympics. With the bronze in the mixed team competition, the Brazilian team reached four medals in the current edition and became the best participation on the mat in the Olympic Games.

The result in Paris 2024 surpasses the edition in London 2012, when Brazil also had four medals, with a gold by Sarah Menezes and three bronzes with Felipe Kitadai, Rafael Silva and Mayra Aguiar.

Due to the presence of a gold and a silver together on the list, the Brazilian Judo Confederation already considered the performance in Paris better than in London.

Since Los Angeles 1984, Brazil has been on the podium in judo at least once in all editions of the Olympic Games.
