A new case involving a Porsche killed a motorcyclist in the early hours of last Thursday (1st), at kilometer 74 of the BR-116 highway, in Três Córregos, in the municipality of Teresópolis (RJ).
The collision happened around 00:40 am and, at the time, the victim, 47 years old, was hit by a Porsche Boxster, valued at R$ 500 thousand. The man was identified as farmer Adilson de Lima, according to GloboNews.
The Civil Police is investigating the case and finding out if the man taken to the police station was really the driver of the luxury car.
The Federal Highway Police in Rio de Janeiro (PRF-RJ) was called to attend the occurrence and, upon arriving at the scene, a man introduced himself as the driver of the vehicle and was taken to the police station. He had no injuries.
The car, however, would belong to someone else, according to witnesses, a digital influencer from Teresópolis, known for holding raffles, vehicle raffles and trips on social networks. His name was not disclosed.
According to delegate Marcio Dubugras, responsible for the 110th DP, shortly before the collision, the influencer was seen with the Porsche alone at a gas station. In addition, the influencer would have left the place at high speed.
“Soon after the accident happened. And someone else took over as if he were the driver,” the delegate told Diário TV Teresópolis. “We collected testimonies that point out that the influencer was with the vehicle. Now we have taken another statement and try to seek other information to conclude the investigation,” he added.
The owner of the car is considered a fugitive and is wanted due to an open arrest warrant for failing to comply with precautionary measures in a case.
“We are searching and he will be arrested at any time,” said the chief. “There is an arrest warrant issued.”
