An international flight that departed from Miami to Fortaleza, Ceará, had to be diverted and made an unscheduled stop in Belém due to the behavior of a passenger. The situation was revealed by the Federal Police on Monday (5).
The incident occurred on Saturday (3), when the man, visibly intoxicated, began to cause problems shortly after takeoff. According to flight attendants, he removed his seat belt, cursed at the crew and urinated on the bathroom floor. In addition, the passenger slapped his wife during the flight.
After receiving instructions to behave, at the risk of being removed from the aircraft by the Federal Police upon landing, the man threatened a death commissioner.
