Influencer Igor Viana, suspected of embezzling donations intended for his daughter with cerebral palsy, showed no regret and said he would do it all over again, according to delegate Aline Lopes, responsible for the investigation. The delegate revealed that Igor’s offenses against his daughter on social networks were ironies to generate engagement. The influencer was arrested in Goiânia.
“He didn’t admit anything, didn’t show any kind of regret and said he would do it all over again,” said the delegate. Igor was arrested by the Civil Police last Friday (2), in compliance with a warrant issued the day before. He was found in a university kitnet in the Jardim Goiás Sector, where he had been for about 15 days. Igor’s defense said it was taken by surprise by the arrest and that he collaborated with the investigation, providing all the clarifications and providing the requested documents and objects.
The investigation revealed that Igor let the girl choke to expose the moments on social networks. “The speech therapists who attended the child stated in testimony that he knew the correct way to hold and feed, but he did it wrong to expose him, and that this left him at risk of bronchoaspiration, and even death”, detailed Aline Lopes.
According to the delegate, Igor justified the complaints by saying that his daughter chokes frequently and that he held her inappropriately because “she does it with her eyes closed”, claiming not to encounter difficulties.

The influencer has moved several times since the investigations began, as reported by delegate Aline Lopes. In addition to the kitnet where he was arrested, he also stayed in a hotel and motel. “He left Anápolis, and was migrating from one apartment to another. Motel, hotel, apartment rented by app… went through several. I ordered food by app practically every day,” detailed the delegate.
To the police, Igor justified the move from Anápolis to Goiânia by stating that he was feeling threatened in the previous city. Igor and the child’s mother are investigated for embezzlement, embezzlement of disabled persons’ earnings, discrimination against people with disabilities, child embarrassment and mistreatment. The child is under the care of the paternal grandmother.

The case began to be investigated after the Civil Police received complaints about the child’s poor care. Videos were found in which Igor caused embarrassment to his daughter. In one of the videos investigated, he calls his daughter useless after asking her to go to the market.
On the internet, Igor shared his daughter’s routine, but in some posts he also made fun of the child. In an audio sent to g1, the influencer called followers who donated to the 2-year-old girl “fools”. In addition to Igor, the child’s mother is also investigated by the police.
The influencer admitted to the police that he faked fights to move followers. According to delegate Aline Lopes, Igor confirmed that the offenses against his daughter on social networks were ironies to increase engagement. “He confirms that there was an agreement between him and the girl’s mother to produce a type of content simulating fights and confusion in order to engage followers,” said Aline.
The influencer also claimed that he was not obliged to use the money received only for the girl. In audios sent to the reporter, Igor said that the child “is boring” and that it gives him a lot of work. “I didn’t imagine that a child who has 10% of his brain working would be so annoying and could give me so much trouble. The desire, sometimes, is to leave at the door of the orphanage and let someone turn around, someone take care of it,” he concluded.
