Police The Civil Police of Alagoas arrested, on Thursday (18), a 48-year-old man accused of sending pornographic videos and audios to children and adolescents from 6 to 16 years old. The arrest took place at the suspect’s residence, in the city of Colônia de Leopoldina, located 150 km from Maceió, on the border with Pernambuco.
Civil agents of the Police Intelligence Directorate (Dinpol) served an arrest warrant to be issued by the 1st Court of Childhood, Youth and Family of Arapiraca. The arrest happened after a mother filed a police report when she noticed the material being sent to her daughter, in the city of Arapiraca.
According to the Civil Police, the 48-year-old man, who did not have his identity revealed, sent messages on Whatsapp and made calls to harass minors, exposing pornographic content. According to the investigation, the man sent recordings where he appeared naked and masturbating.
The Civil Police also revealed that they found other police reports with the same way of acting and the same number used in the calls. According to g1, to the authorities, the suspect said that he chose minors randomly.
The Civil Police, in a statement, warned that the man will be taken to the prison system and will be available to the Justice.
