Police are investigating images of a man hanging from a car window in Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
The case was filmed by drivers passing by the place. Witnesses said that the man tried to take the cell phone at a traffic light on Avenida Salvador Allende, but was trapped and dragged by the driver.

According to the Military Police, the corporation became aware of the case through social networks. After that, the 31st BPM (Recreio dos Bandeirantes) carried out a search in the area.
The PMs also said that the driver did not contact the police.
The region will have reinforced policing after the case, according to the PM.
