The driver of the yellow Porsche, who was arrested for running over and killing a motorcyclist on Monday (29), after a traffic argument in the South Zone of São Paulo, he was already accused, before the crime, of using the luxury car to chase and threaten a family.
The case that preceded the motorcyclist’s death reveals that Igor Ferreira Sauceda, 27, persecuted the businessman family for having a division in a bar partnership.
The persecuted family told g1 that Igor and his girlfriend followed them, who were in a Honda City on July 20.
The Honda was driven by Cleusa Silva de Souza, wife of Erinaldo Joaquim dos Santos, who was in the passenger seat. The couple’s daughter, Beatriz Silva dos Santos, was also in the vehicle, in the back seat.
The family owns Luminus Bar, and said they had a partnership with Igor and his family from Beco do Espeto a few years ago. The two bars are located in Itaim Bibi, an upscale neighborhood in the South Zone of São Paulo.
“We made a partnership from 2017 to 2018, and then with me it lasted until 2020. Then the threats began, the fights, then I left so as not to cause more confusion. And that’s where the constant threats come from,” said Erinaldo, who is known as Bill.
One of the threats evolved into an assault, as reported by Bill’s family. “They got out of the car and punched me in the face,” said his son, who preferred to remain anonymous. The case was registered as bodily injury in a police report made in 2021 at the 15th Police District (DP), in Itaim Bibi.
On Monday (29), the family that owns Luminus Bar returned to the same police station to request that the Civil Police investigate Igor and his family members for this aggression and other threats.
“The reason for my presence today at the 15th DP is due to the news that emerged this morning about the yellow Porsche. The car belongs to a former partner of my clients, who has faced serious threats in recent months,” explained lawyer Daniel Biral to g1, representing the family’s interests.
The lawyer plans to take the complaints, along with the videos recorded a week ago to the DP, so that they can be analyzed during the investigation.
Hit by car
Igor is accused of running over and killing Pedro Kaique Ventura Figueiredo, 21, on Monday (29), in São Paulo.
The hit-and-run was due to a traffic fight in which Pedro would have broken the rearview mirror of Igor’s Porsche. Everything was caught by security cameras. Watch the video:
