A 36-year-old woman, daughter of a former deputy, said she was assaulted and raped by her husband, in addition to denouncing having had her child taken by him, in Goiânia (GO), and several other types of violence. They have been married for six years and she reported that, during the relationship, she has experienced several aggressions.
According to her, the man left the house and took her four-year-old son with him after she filed a complaint with the police about him, she told g1. The husband, according to the Civil Police, is investigated for threat, injury, rape, bodily injury and psychological violence.
The man has a lawyer responsible for reporting that he took the child and another to deal with cases of aggression.
Regarding the accusation that he took the child without the mother’s consent, the defense told g1 that, out of respect for the parties involved, it will only manifest itself through judicial proceedings, “mainly because it involves the interests of a child, the family regrets the proportion and possible damage to the couple’s child”.
The lawyer representing the accused in the complaint of aggression, did not respond to the report.
Protective measure
The woman obtained, in court, a protective measure that provides for a distance of 200 meters from her and her family.
According to her, during the relationship, she was physically assaulted several times and was still forced to have sex with the man. Before this complaint, the victim had already registered occurrences against her husband in 2020 and 2021 for bodily injury and threat.
“I couldn’t get out of the relationship. There have been times when I have called the police, registered a complaint, but I was always coerced not to finish,” she told the portal.
The last time was in the early hours of last Sunday (28), when, according to her, her husband had drunk alcohol and tried to force her to have sex. At the time, he reportedly said that he would “give her the last chance” and, if she refused, “things would get bad”.
“He threatened me and I was very afraid,” she reported.
The signs of abusive behavior began to appear right at the beginning of the relationship, six years ago. At the time, he was even taken to rehabilitation clinics by his own family and was undergoing psychiatric follow-up.
However, as time went by, the violence became more frequent and he began to physically assault and humiliate her, saying that she “was horrible”. With that, she said she made complaints and started to gather evidence.
In conversation with her husband, she reported that she even begged him not to hit her. At the time, he would have apologized and said that she was the “most important” thing he had.
Other types of violations
In addition to the physical assaults, the former deputy’s daughter reported that her husband photographed her private parts while she was sleeping and used her cell phone to make bank transfers.
“Since I got married, I have suffered psychological and physical violence in all ways,” she said.
