A military police officer is suspected of killing his partner’s alleged lover. The case happened on Tuesday (6), in a mechanic shop, in the Boa Vista neighborhood, East Region of Belo Horizonte.
After killing his lover, Claydson Bahiense Viana, 40, called the woman by video call and killed himself soon after.
According to the police report (BO), the Military Police (PM) went to the mechanic shop to investigate the complaint that several shots had been fired in the establishment. When they arrived at the scene, the agents found Ângelo Magno Ferreira Dias Galvão, the possible lover, shot lying on the ground.
The military rescued Angelo and took him to the João XXIII Emergency Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.
During the work in the workshop, the military received a new alert about shots fired on a nearby street. A few minutes later, the police officers who were responding to the incident were informed about the death of the 3rd sergeant of the PM, Claydson Bahiense Viana.
When contacting the wife of the deceased sergeant, she reported that he had made a video call informing her that he had killed Angelo, after discovering an extramarital relationship between her and the mechanic. Then the sergeant committed suicide.
The wife was taken to a Military Police battalion to receive psychological support.
