Thiago Messi, just 11 years old, is the eldest son of star Lionel Messi, and despite his young age, the boy is already starting to follow in his father’s footsteps. Thiago plays for the youth team of Inter Miami, Messi’s team, and won the Weston Cup, with a hat-trick.

As well as the first team, Inter Miami’s sub-12 category has some other ‘big’ names. In addition to Thiago,
Benjamín Suárez, son of Uruguayan Luis Suárez, is also on the team and has lifted the trophy along with Lionel Messi’s first-born son.

Thiago is not the only one who has already entered the world of football. Messi has also placed Ciro and Matteo, his two youngest sons, in Inter Miami’s youth teams, and the Argentinian No10 makes a point of attending his boys’ training sessions and matches.
