Network Globo confirmed, at the end of Tuesday (5), the signing of narrator Paulo Andrade. The broadcaster was with ESPN for 20 years. Now he’s changing companies and will be a voice on Globo’s channels, such as SporTV and Premiere.

Paulo already has a date to start his work at Rede Globo. The communicator will start narrating the Brazilian Championship matches, which are scheduled to start on April 14.

Paulo Andrade talks about his arrival at Globo

The communicator did, after all, talk about moving house after 20 years at ESPN. He treated the hiring as the realization of a dream.

“It’s the beginning of the realization of a dream to arrive at Globo, the largest communications group in the country. There’s no one who does what I do, whether they’re a journalist, narrator or presenter, who doesn’t dream of working for this company. From now on I have all the energy, joy and disposition to make this dream come true,” he said in an interview with Globo.

The narrator joked that he was always asked when he was going to Globo and now he can confirm it.

“The interesting thing is that throughout my career many people asked me when I was going to Globo. And I wouldn’t say. But now I can say: ‘I’m going to Globo now’. It’s a source of great emotion and honor to be able to say that,” Andrade added.
