The Los Angeles Lakers are still alive in the NBA playoffs. Last Saturday, the team had a great collective performance to beat the Denver Nuggets 119-108 at the Crypto.com Arena and reduce the deficit in the series to 3-1.

In the most anticipated game of the night, another slip was expected from the Lakers to give the victory on a platter to the Nuggets at the end of the confrontation. However, LeBron James showed up, toughened up the game and was the basket of the Los Angeles team. Despite the victory, the situation is still critical and a single victory for the Nuggets gives the spot to the Denver franchise.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis this time had support from athletes like D’Angelo Russell, who scored in the third game, and also Austin Rivers. For the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic did what he could, with a triple-double of 33 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists, but he was unable to prevent the defeat. Michael Porter Jr. was another who stood out, with 27 points.

The teams face each other again on Monday (29), now in Denver. If they win, the Nuggets are guaranteed a spot in the Western Conference semifinals.
