Influencer and Tiktoker Maddy Baloy, 26, died on Wednesday (1st) due to complications from cancer. The information was confirmed by the American magazine People. Maddy shared her cancer treatment journey on social media.

According to the digital influencer’s fiancé, Louis Risher, “Madison passed away last night,” and would have left “surrounded by love.” The statement published by the magazine states that Maddy would have died holding hands with her fiancé.

May 1 is also the date of Louis’ birthday, who stated, “I turned 27 yesterday, actually. I was holding her hand all day and that’s all I needed.”

The influencer had more than 400 followers on TikTok and accumulated more than 7 million likes on the videos. She shared the family’s routine, the details of the treatment, and the evolution of the disease.

Maddy said she thought she had “a worm” or some kind of stomach virus. She worked in kindergarten at an elementary school in Shore Acres, Florida. However, after not getting better, she sought specialized help, which showed that she had tumors in her large intestine.

Even with surgical treatment and chemotherapy sessions, the disease continued to advance. Maddy posted her last video on March 5, explaining her story.
