A puppy from Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, decided to thank the veterinarian who rescued him after the heavy rains and floods in the Rio Grande do Sul region. The animal hugged the professional’s leg and the touching gesture fell in the public’s graces.
The veterinarian is Liandra Dall’Orsoletta, coordinator of the Small Animal Care Center (NAPA) of Chapecó. “Deliver all the donations that Chapecó sent and the little dog thanking you for everything,” she wrote as a caption to the Instagram post.
Although the moment took place last Saturday (11), the video continues to go viral among netizens. The closeness between the dog and Liandra moved the spectators in the midst of the catastrophe in Rio Grande do Sul.
The rescue of animals in the state has sensitized the volunteers who are in the region of Rio Grande do Sul and the population as a whole. In addition to the puppy that hugged the veterinarian, the “Caramel Horse” was another rescued animal that thrilled the population.
