A 16-year-old teenager who murdered his parents and sister in the west zone of São Paulo was “astonished” when he was apprehended by the police and taken to the Casa Foundation. The crime was detailed by police chief Roberto Afonso during a press conference on Tuesday (21).

According to the police chief, the young man showed “coldness” when narrating how he killed his family and said he felt no “remorse”, even declaring intestimony that he would “do it all over again”.

The crime occurred last Friday (17), but the teenager only called the police on Sunday (19). According to his testimony, he first killed his father, who was a municipal guard in Jundiaí, then murdered his sister, and finally waited for his mother to come home to kill her.

After confessing to the murders, the young man was told that he would be taken to the Casa Foundation, which shocked him. “We don’t know if he was out of touch with regard to detention,” said police chief Afonso.

The reason behind the tragedy was the removal of the teenager’s computer by the legal guardians. He reported to the police that this was the last straw that led him to commit the murders.

The young man confessed that he had already thought about killing his parents due to the constant family quarrels, but it was only on the day of the crime that he decided to carry out the plan. Knowing where his father kept the gun, he used it to execute his family.

The bodies of the victims were found in an advanced state of decomposition, indicating that the crime took place days before the young man’s confession.

He detailed to police that he shot his parents downstairs and his sister upstairs. In addition to the gunshots, the mother was also stabbed in the back, as the teenager “was still angry with her.”

After committing the murders, the young man spent the weekend normally, frequenting a bakery and the gym.

Authorities seized the cell phone and the murder weapon for forensics. The teenager was transferred to the Casa Foundation and will face charges of homicide, femicide, vilification of a corpse, among other offenses.
